What are the volunteer requirements?

We rely heavily on parent involvement to support all the things we do for our kids. Volunteer sign-ups are done at the time of registration using a points system. There are a ton of jobs available with varying levels of commitment so you can sign up based on your availability. If you are unable to commit to volunteering, you may elect to pay the opt-out fee ($175 per swimmer) when registering.

Is it okay for me to miss a practice or take family vacation throughout the summer?

Absolutely, we just ask that you use our Absence Reporting Form on the website throughout the season to let our coaches know when you will be unavailable for an extended time period of practice or if you are going to miss any meet.

What do swimmers wear to practice?

It is recommended for girls to wear a one-piece swimsuit and boys to wear either speedo or jammer type bottoms. Goggles are also recommended. Some swimmers wear swim caps during practice but that is personal preference. Bring a towel, sunscreen, pool shoes and anything else you need for a day at the pool.
